Whether the Heat’s 33 percent 2 nd half effort was a result of Charlotte’s defense or Miami just fizzling, the Bobcats came together as a team and secured a crucial victory in front of a frenzied home crowd to even up their SU record on the year.

In the process, they propelled themselves into the 7 th seed of the Eastern Conference Playoff standings.

Save for a five-game winning streak in early February, the Sixers have won back-to-back games only four times this season. That’s clearly the recipe for playing .365 ball at this point of an NBA season.
